My Approach

Prior to my career as a social worker and therapist, I have been working as a sex educator and dating coach since 2009. I transitioned into the social work field to empower others in my communities in ways that therapists had empowered me.

My therapeutic approach has been described as "Coffee with a friend", where there is room for laughter, vulnerability, exploration of ideas, and hard truths.

While I primarily work within diverse sexual communities, I recognize that identities grow and change throughout our lifetime. Your identities can be recognized and supported without necessarily being the focus of your treatment.

I believe that therapy should be a collaboration, where we strengthen your ability to explore your problems, approach solutions, and deepen your relationships with yourself and others. Let's look at your personal strengths and empower you to understand yourself. Don't be afraid if you don't know what those may be, we'll meet you right where you are, as you are.
